A lovely day out with an added bonus (to my surprise) of finding some tasty gluten free finds!
I had an amazing time at the Oxford Foodies Festival (the sun stayed out for us too) ☀️ Although it wasn't a gluten free festival, I managed to get my hands on 2 gluten free finds.. Chicken Paella from a large stall the did a veggie option too. I was really pleased to see this as I wondered if i would have to go hungry until I got home as there were so many cross contamination nightmares around!
Then for a sweet treat we had some Nutella flavoured macarons which were super tasty! I would have tried more but I was still so full from my good sized portion of Paella.
I also watched Candice Brown winner of the Great British Bake Off 2016 in the baking tent which was fabulous and also Becky Cummings from Pin Up Pantry who made a gorgeous GLUTEN FREE Victoria Sponge (giving some great GF baking tips along the way!)
All in all, it was a beautiful day in the sunshine and a fabulous day out!
I would definitely like to try an all gluten free food festival next time and would love to know if you have any recommendations?
